Terbo Plastics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Transpaco Ltd, a listed company on the Johannesburg South Africa, Stock Exchange.

Its main emphasis is the extrusion of plastic for thermoformed packaging applications. For the past fifteen years it has been extruding PVC sheet and foil. It has recently invested in the very latest plant to also produce polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Polystyrene (PS) and polypropylene (PP).

Added to this the company thermoforms its sheet into profiles for media used in cooling towers, trickling filters for the treatment of wastewater and sewage. That media is also used in aquaculture farming applications.

Included in its range of plant are pressure / vacuum forming machines which enables it to produce trays and skillets for the packaging of fruit, vegetables and confectionary items.
